About Creation Inspiration, and Dr. Chapman
Creation Inspiration: Connecting Science and Scripture
Creation Inspiration is a Christian teaching ministry that helps believers see how God’s Word and God’s world agree. The heart of this work is simple: to show that what we learn from science supports what God has already said in Scripture.
From the very first verse, the Bible sets the tone:
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
Creation Inspiration points back again and again to Genesis 1:1–27, where God speaks light, land, seas, plants, animals, and human beings into existence. This is not just a story. It is real history, and it shapes how we see everything else in life.
Through blogs, teaching, and resources, Creation Inspiration helps Christians:
Understand how science fits with the Bible
Recognize the weakness of evolution
Grow in worship of the Creator
Look ahead with hope, knowing that Jesus is coming again
At the center of it all is the conviction that Christ is the Creator, Redeemer, and coming King.
Our FOUNDER
Meet Dr. Chapman, Founder of Creation Inspiration
A Life Guided by Faith, Science, and God’s Purpose
Dr. Marilyn Chapman (known here as Dr. Chapman) is a Christian educator and theologian who loves both Scripture and science. She founded Creation Inspiration so believers could see the strong link between what the Bible teaches and what we observe in God’s creation.
That mix of Bible teaching and early exposure to science planted deep seeds. God would later grow those seeds into a calling that blends both disciplines.
From Dentistry to Christian Education
Dr. Chapman’s path took her through public schools and then into higher education, where she earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS). For more than 20 years, she practiced clinical dentistry in respected settings, including Embassy Row and Southeast Washington, D.C., before launching her own practice in Maryland.
By most standards, this was a successful career. Yet God was working in her heart. As she continued to study the Bible and serve in local churches, she sensed a deeper call toward Christian education and teaching.
When she later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, that call became clear. She knew the Lord was leading her to focus on teaching the Bible and equipping believers rather than staying full-time in dentistry.
Advanced Study in Christian Education and Apologetics
In obedience to that call, Dr. Chapman went back to school and earned a Master’s in Christian Education and Biblical Apologetics, graduating summa cum laude. Her studies included:
These experiences helped her see Scripture with fresh clarity and gave her tools to explain the faith to others. She then taught at St. Stephens Christian Academy, where she worked to connect Bible truths to everyday life in the classroom.
Through every step of that journey, one verse has encouraged her again and again:
“… He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”
Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Dr. Chapman sees her life as an example of that promise. God started a work in her as a little girl, surrounded by strong believers, and He continues that work today through Creation Inspiration.

Standing on Scripture: Key Passages That Shape This Ministry
Creation Inspiration is shaped by specific passages that point clearly to God as Creator and Christ as Lord.
1
Genesis 1:1–27: God Speaks Creation into Existence
Genesis 1:1–27 shows God creating everything by His word: light and darkness, sky and sea, land and plants, sun, moon, stars, fish, birds, animals, and finally man and woman in His image. This chapter tells us that:
- God is the source of all life
- Humans are created on purpose, not by accident
- Male and female are part of God’s good design
- Creation is ordered and intentional
This foundation guides Creation Inspiration’s approach to science, history, and culture.
2
Isaiah 44:24: The Lord Alone Is Creator
“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
and He who formed you from the womb:
‘I am the Lord, who makes all things,
who stretches out the heavens all alone,
who spreads abroad the earth by Myself.’”
Isaiah 44:24 (NKJV)
This verse reminds us that God alone is Creator. He formed each of us in the womb and stretched out the heavens. That truth shapes how Dr. Chapman talks about embryology, biology, and astronomy. Every discovery should move us to worship, not doubt.
3
John 1:3 and Colossians 1:15: Christ the Creator
“All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”
John 1:3 (NKJV)
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”
Colossians 1:15 (NKJV)
Creation Inspiration points not only to God as Creator but also, very clearly, to Jesus Christ as Creator. The same Jesus who died on the cross and rose from the grave is the One through whom all things were made. That means creation is not a side topic. It is tied directly to the person and work of Christ.
These passages, along with Philippians 1:6, shaped Dr. Chapman’s writing, teaching, and prayer for everyone who visits Creation Inspiration.
What You Will Find at Creation Inspiration
Teaching That Connects Science and the Bible
Through Creation Inspiration, Dr. Chapman writes heartfelt, science-aware, Bible-centered blogs that celebrate the Creator and the beauty of His design. She often returns to themes such as:
- Creation and Genesis 1:1–27
- Biology and anatomy that reveal God’s wisdom
- Geology and the structure of the earth as it relates to biblical history
- The connection between God’s creation and His plan for redemption
Each article aims to:
- Strengthen your trust in the Bible
- Show how scientific observations support Scripture
- Turn your attention back to worship and obedience

Encouragement for Believers With Questions About Science
Many Christians feel pressure from textbooks, media, and classroom discussions that promote evolution and a godless view of origins. Creation Inspiration speaks to:
- Believers who want answers about how science and Scripture fit together
- Students who feel pulled between what they hear in class and what they read in the Bible
- Adults who love God but feel uncertain how to respond when someone challenges their faith
Dr. Chapman writes in a clear, respectful way, always aiming to encourage rather than shame. Her goal is to help you see that you do not have to check your brain at the door to follow Christ. Instead, you can bring your questions to God and His Word, and you can see how real science points back to Him.
A Growing Library of Christ-Centered Resources
As Creation Inspiration grows, you will find:
- Blog posts that explain key creation topics
- Teaching that connects Scripture, science, and current issues
- Resources that point you to trusted creation science ministries and tools
All of it is designed to help you grow in knowledge, confidence, and love for the Lord.

Encouraging You to Trust God’s Ongoing Work
Philippians 1:6 is not just a verse on the page for Dr. Chapman. It is a promise she has lived. God began a good work in her as a child, grew that work through education and career, and guided her into Christian education and ministry. He is still working today, through Creation Inspiration and through the believers who are blessed by this ministry.
That same promise is for you. If you belong to Christ, He will carry His work in you to completion. Creation Inspiration exists to encourage you to keep walking with Him, keep trusting His Word, and keep growing.
Why Creation Inspiration Matters for Today’s Christian
Helping You See God’s Hand in Creation
When you understand that God is Creator, it changes how you see everything:
Your body is not random. It is designed.
Your life is not an accident. It is purposeful.
The world around you, from the smallest cell to the widest galaxy, shows God’s power and wisdom.
Creation Inspiration reminds you of this truth again and again. When you read Scripture like Genesis 1, Isaiah 44:24, John 1:3, and Colossians 1:15, and then look at science through that lens, you start to see God’s fingerprints everywhere.
